The political system in JaJarp varies for each great city. Grenielle and Hilsh both observe an absolute monarchy while Fru and Cachies are both democratic with the Senate as their highest representational political body.

There are also political alliances among the cities of JaJarp, especially after the Lac Tap was established and the sector of Saries was transferred under Cachies. Grenielle has Hilsh as its ally while the Fru are allied with the Cachs, although all alliances will be put to the test as new events begin to unfold and the threat of a widespread civil war looms over the horizon.
