Rival Saga Adds Starter Tutorial in Newest Version

June 8, 2008 – Rival Saga Build 0.2.3a was launched today as the latest version of the company’s first web-based Flash Role-Playing Game, including a Starter Tutorial to ease new players gradually into the fantasy-filled gameplay.

Aside from the Starter Tutorial, Rival Saga Build 0.2.3a also has the following additions and fixes to make the game even better:

  • Addition of “destroy function” in the inventory menu
  • Addition of “sell” function while shopping (You can now sell items you have collected during the game)
  • Addition of ten new items to the game
  • Addition of 3 new sub-quests for game play linkage
  • Updated all zones to use ZoneMainBase, ZoneSectionBase and ZoneScene
  • Fixed “create character error” bug
  • Fixed character direction problem when loading map
  • Updated and fixed bugs in the Forgotten Mine

Rival Saga Follows Up New Version With Build 0.2.2a

June 4, 2008 – The Rival Saga team today introduced yet a newer version of Rival Saga – Build 0.2.2a as the number of players all over the world continue to increase.

Rival Saga Build 0.2.2a features several minor changes in the game, including the addition of a bubble tooltip in Popup.as and NPC close-up during dialogues. New fixes have also been applied, including fixes to the infinite AP bug, so players will now have to earn their Action Points, and the bug which allows NPC to overlay player characters.

Rival Saga Unveils New Version, Multiple Bugs Fixed

June 1, 2008 – After only three days following the release of Rival Saga Build 0.1.4a, the Rival Saga team has unveiled yet another version of their newest Flash Role-Playing Game – Rival Saga Build 0.2.0a.

The new and improved version showcases a number of changes and additions, including:

  • NPCs will now be loaded only once when players move between zones
  • Action Point(AP) system during battle mode
  • Drink potion during battle now requires at least 1 Action Point
  • Functional “Quest” button on the map (Click on this to check the quests you currently have)
  • New random number class for random number functions

Aside from these, Rival Saga Build 0.2.0a also includes fixes to the following previously reported bugs:

  • Bug in Hilsh City Scene 9
  • Targeting bug in battle platform
  • NPC disappearing bug while entering the zone
  • Reward bug – bug which still enables players to receive reward even when defeated in battle (You can only receive the reward if you win)

According to the Rival Saga team, these improvements should help make the game even more appealing and enjoyable to gamers all over the world. They are also continuously working on making the game even better.
